Shopping centers, unique stores, markets, arcades are all great shopping locations which are situated throughout Dublin city. The city has a variety of shops to go to for people that like shopping.

There are several shopping centres in the city ; The Ilac Centre, located on Henry Street, is one of the city's oldest and best shopping centres. The Stephens Green Centre in St. Stephens Green, The Powerscourt Shopping Centre found on South William Street and The Jervis Mall positioned on Abbey Street Upper are some of the city's leading shopping centres. All of these are centres are popular with shoppers as they have all of the shops you would ever wish for on those critical shopping expeditions. You will find shops like TK Maxx, Dorothy Perkins, HM, PERSONAL COMPUTER World, Topshop and Topman, Scent Direct and many others.

If you do not enjoy the mall experience then street shopping is an option and the Southside and Northside of the city are alternatives. Many unique stores including the famous Brown Thomas are found on the Southside which is between Trinity School and St Stephens Green. Various footwear shops and clothing stores are found on the Northside of Dublin which is in general known as Henry Street. Both sides of the city are brilliant shopping locations which are visited by neighbors and many tourists.

Malls and arcades are also popular with visitors and neighbors. Georges Street arcade has a great atmosphere for buyers with a great range of shops which include attire, flowers, accessories, foods and drinks, jewellery, antiques and collectables and even hairdressing. Also at this colonnade you will find book shops, a studio, a psychic and even a specialist food store, so you definitely won't be disappointed .

For folks who like markets then there are several in Dublin city ; two markets which are extremely popular with locals and holiday makers are the art market in Merrion Square which is on each week-end. This market, where artists show and sell their art is superb for art fanatics but what makes this market special is that you can speak to the artists themselves about their work. Also another well-liked market is the Smithfield Market located at the Haymarket end of Smithfield ; this market is held between 11.00 a.m. And 6.00 p.m every Friday. Both these markets are an enjoyable visit and both have merchandise that both grown-ups and children will like. Visitors who need to experience the genuine old Dublin should visit Moore Street market, which sells fruit and vegetables and fish.

Dublin is an excellent spot to shop where you'll find everything you are looking for, you won't find the shopping atmosphere the city has to supply anywhere else. As there are such a lot of shops and markets to go to the choice is never-ending, and you will not be disappointed .
